Bókun’s New Pricing Plans
What are Bókun’s new price plans?
We’ve been busy speaking to customers to understand what they need to manage their business more effectively. Customers are at different stages of growth and some said our PRO plan wasn’t giving them enough flexibility and opportunity to scale. So, on September 19th 2024 we’re launching "Bókun START", "Bókun PLUS" and "Bókun PREMIUM". These plans are designed to help operators of any size grow their businesses more cost-effectively, with each one offering a different bundle of features. They all benefit from no fees on Viator bookings and include a 14-day free trial.
What’s the difference between the new plans and Bókun PRO?
- Savings on booking fees – You could now pay lower booking fees as you scale your business.
- Extras now included – Access great features (like Agent Area or custom reports) as parts of different plans.
- Personalized services – Get a one-to-one onboarding session, as well as an annual review, to help you get the best out of Bókun.
- Simplified booking fees – We’ve made booking fees across all channels really simple: 1.5% for Bókun START, 1.25% for Bókun PLUS and 1% for Bókun PREMIUM.
- A new approach to Viator submission fees – We’ve changed our approach to Viator submission fees (worth $29 per product). We’ll offer 12/year in START, 24/yr in PLUS and 48/yr in PREMIUM.
What does this mean for existing Bókun PRO customers?
If you’re a Bókun PRO customer, nothing is changing and you don’t need to do a thing. These plans are for new customers – but you are welcome to sign up to one of them if you feel it would be more suitable for your business.
What about FREE customers or those with lapsed accounts?
We offer a 15-day grace period from when your subscription stops for any downgraded or lapsed customers. During that time, customers who decide to reactivate their accounts can choose between Bokun PRO or one of our new plans. After 15 days, they’ll only be able to choose one of the new plans.
Which plan will be most cost effective for my business?
As a guide, we suggest that if your business is taking its first steps into online booking and sells through 1 or 2 OTAs then Bókun START could be the right plan for you. If you are a bit larger with ambitious growth aspirations, Bókun PLUS could be a good fit. And if you’re an even larger, more sophisticated business with a high volume of bookings each month, we recommend Bókun PREMIUM.
